Thrilling OT win in Grande Prairie
With the Canucks trailing 2 -1 going into the third, a fantastic rally helped the team come from behind and win in overtime 4-3. The Canucks now trail the western division finals 2 games to 1 heading home to play Saturday night.
Elmer Farnquist 1929 - 2010
It is with a heavy heart that the Dawson Creek Senior Canucks and the rest of the community gathered at the Memorial Arena to say good-bye to one of our good friends. Elmo was dedicated to his family, the community and to the sport of hockey. Everyone remembers a story of how he put a smile on our faces and how he was always there, through the good times and the bad.
On Saturday, February 20,2010, The Senior Canucks will pay tribute to our friend prior to our playoff game against the Grande Prairie Athletics. Come on out and celebrate his legacy with us.
